The mission of the Gay Project as per the Constitution is to ensure that gay, bisexual, men who have sex with men (MSM), trans and queer men are enabled to participate fully in Ireland’s social, economic, cultural, political and artistic life.

The aims and objective of the Gay Project are:

Support

To provide information and support to gay men, bisexual men, men who have sex with men (MSM), trans and queer men and their families.

 

Promote:

To promote the mental, sexual, physical and emotional health of gay men, bisexual men, men who have sex with men (MSM), trans and queer men.

Enable

To support, enable and enhance the development of the LGBTI+ community.

 

Awareness

To raise awareness in wider society of the issues that disproportionately affect the LGBTI+ community.

 

Inform

To inform and contribute to relevant policy-making and advance LGBTI+ civil rights at a local, national and international level.

Raise

To raise awareness amongst others in the wider Irish society of the issues that disproportionately affect gay men, bisexual men, men who have sex with men (MSM), queer and trans men.
